Set up for Linux in VirtualBox:
There are many steps to installing Linux.
- Step 1: Download and install VB (VirtualBox).
- Step 2: Download the Linux image (Ubuntu Linux)
Get Ubuntu Linux - https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop👆
- Step 3: Open VirtualBox and Click on the New symbol to create a new Virtual Machine and give the name of your Virtual OS, Type, and Version. Click Next 👆
- Step 4: Allocate the memory to your virtual OS. Click Next 👆
- Step 5: Create a Virtual hard disk for your Virtual OS. Click Create 👆
- Step 6: Use VDI (Virtual Disk Image). Click Next 👆
- Step 7: Choose Dynamically allocated. Click Next 👆
- Step 8: Recommended Size of the Hard disk is 10GB. Click Create 👆
- Step 9: Click Start to boot your Ubuntu Linux.
- Step 10: Choose the Ubuntu image( if the VirtualBox doesn't detect it.). Click Next 👆
- Step 11: Install Ubuntu.
- Step 12: Continue and Install now.
